The drivers provided on this page are only for the versions of InspectionWare from 7.3.0.4 and later. If you have a older version of InspectionWare please use the appropriate earlier versions of the drivers.

The following drivers are provided as a courtesy to UTEX Scientific Instruments customers, and are therefore offered on an "as is" basis. UTEX does not maintain or support these drivers. If you are unsure of what driver to use, please consult the hardware manufacturer directly, or contact UTEX for further guidance.

For the simplest installation, this driver package should be installed on the computer before installing the Acquisition Logic hardware.

Supported Acquisition Logic cards:

AL12200 / AL81G / AL4108 / AL8xGT/ AL8100-4C

.NET Framework: 4.0 (download and install)

1. Ensure you have the correct .NET Framework(s) and patches installed as directed in the .NET Prerequisites section.
2. Install Drivers FIRST. Then turn off the computer and install the Card(s).
3. Install card(s), and turn on the computer. When Plug and Play detects the card(s), allow the computer to automatically (choose the recommended setting) install the driver.
4. If asked to locate the driver, browse to C:\Program Files\Acquisition Logic\AL .NET\(Driver version# )\ to find the correct *.INF file to complete the installation.
5. You are done the main installation. Restart your computer and then you can access the cards via the acquisition software.
6. Once you have restarted the computer:
   • for InspectionWare 64: browse to C:\Program Files\Acquisition Logic\AL .NET\2.3.35\ and COPY the file ALNET2.dll to C:\InspectionWare64\Bin\
   • for InspectionWare 32 Bit: browse to C:\Program Files(x86)\Acquisition Logic\AL .NET\2.3.35\ and COPY the file ALNET2.dll to C:\InspectionWare\Bin\

You should now be able to access the Acquisition Logic cards with InspectionWare. See InspectionWare Help or quick Start Guide for instructions on adding hardware to InspectionWare's Device Manager.
