(2) Add parameter set import/export for TVG/GeometricGate.

(3) Added Start Skew, End Skew, and Skew Increment to UT Beam Set.Sectorial Beamset() and UT Beam Set.LinearSpread Beamset() to allow 2D sweeps.

(4) Added User Defined Node.Set Connection Point().

(5) SonoAir 2.0 Device: Sped up disconnecting from device, it now disconnects instantly.

(6) SonoAir 2.0 Device: Reduced command and status polling latency

(7) SonoAir 2.0 Device: Better error and warning reporting for failed operations

(8) Added "my" as a reference to Indications Data Calculator nodes in their Column Calculation scripts.

(9) Add Src Page/Book to Copy Rows From Table task

(12) MCP Provide Archives now provides tools to list, inspect, create, and open workspace backups.

(13) Added GetPossibleSources API and source candidate listing.

(14) Added Export and Import tasks to Parameter Set Collection. Export writes combined parameter set to JSON file; Import reads JSON and applies to connected sources. Both tasks available under File menu.

(15) Added Export/Import tasks to Parameter Set Collection.

(16) Added file filter constant for parameter set JSON files.

(17) Added override for SupportsSSServer, GetStreamNames, ToStorage, FromStorage.

(18) Added support for reading/writing combined parameter set as JSON stream to/from storage provider. ToStorage and FromStorage use same format as Export/Import.

(19) Improved SetParameterSet: handles single-entry unwrap when Expose Singleton Directly is set.

(20) Updated XML help: clarified drag-and-drop, described Export/Import tasks, and added related classes.

(21) Yaskawa Device: Info properties now refresh automatically in open displays while connected

(22) Yaskawa Device: The Yaskawa Alarms Table now shows alarms on the device node

(23) Allow multiple drops of Rays on Get Ray Data.

(24) Fill Mode now fills quad interiors for solid slices.

(25) Added out-of-plane display for Geometric Gate annotation.

(26) Added GPU-accelerated Slice Remapped Ascans support.

Overview

This document contains a downloadable Windows installer for InspectionWare as well as the release notes covering the current version.

Software requirements

  • Operating system: Windows 10 or 11. The latest Windows updates must be installed.
  • InspectionWare 12 ships as a 64-bit application. 32-bit builds are produced only occasionally.
  • .NET Framework 4.8 or later is required. If it is not already installed, click here to download and install it.

Hardware requirements
  • CPU: A processor supporting the AVX2 instruction set is required. This includes 2013-or-later Intel processors and 2015-or-later AMD processors. (List of supported CPUs.) InspectionWare will not install or run on a CPU without AVX2.
  • GPU (optional, for accelerated processing): InspectionWare provides two GPU acceleration backends:
    • DirectX — any GPU supporting DirectX 11 (feature level 11_0) or later, from AMD, Intel, or NVIDIA. A CPU-based software fallback (WARP) is also available when no compatible GPU is present.
    • CUDA — an NVIDIA GPU with architecture ≥ Turing (e.g. RTX 2060, Quadro RTX, T4) and NVIDIA driver ≥ 576.02. NVIDIA GPUs older than Turing (e.g. Pascal / GTX 10-series) are not supported by the CUDA backend.
