Bug Fixes:
(1) Improve error handling in UpdateRaysetFromProbeConfigurationTask
Overview
This document contains a downloadable Windows installer for InspectionWare as well as the release notes covering the current version.
Software requirements
- Operating system: Windows 10 or 11 recommended; Windows 7 is the minimum supported version. The latest Windows updates must be installed.
- InspectionWare 12 ships as a 64-bit application. 32-bit builds are produced only occasionally.
- .NET Framework 4.8 or later is required. If it is not already installed, click here to download and install it.
Hardware requirements
- CPU: A processor supporting the AVX2 instruction set is required. This includes 2013-or-later Intel processors and 2015-or-later AMD processors. (List of supported CPUs.) InspectionWare will not install or run on a CPU without AVX2.
- GPU (optional, for accelerated processing): InspectionWare provides two GPU acceleration backends:
- DirectX — any GPU supporting DirectX 11 (feature level 11_0) or later, from AMD, Intel, or NVIDIA. A CPU-based software fallback (WARP) is also available when no compatible GPU is present.
- CUDA — an NVIDIA GPU with architecture ≥ Turing (e.g. RTX 2060, Quadro RTX, T4) and NVIDIA driver ≥ 576.02. NVIDIA GPUs older than Turing (e.g. Pascal / GTX 10-series) are not supported by the CUDA backend.
