Note:
The following drivers are provided as a courtesy to UTEX Scientific Instruments customers, and are therefore offered on an "as is" basis. UTEX does not maintain or support these drivers. If you are unsure of what driver to use, please consult the hardware manufacturer directly, or contact UTEX for further guidance.
For the simplest installation, this driver package should be installed on the computer before installing the PCUS-11 hardware.

- Right-click on the file name: PCUS11-Win2000-XP Driver Setup.exe Then select "Save Target As" or "Save..." to download the file to your computer.
- After downloading is complete, double-click on the file to run the driver setup wizard, and follow the steps.
Installation Instructions for Final Drivers Released 2006 Manual Installation via *.ZIP package
- Please see the "Driver Files" section below
- Right-click on the file name: Diskette 1 Win2000.zip Then select "Save Target As" or "Save..." to download the file to your computer.
- Check the date on you your existing drivers: C:Windows\System32\Drivers\PCUS11.sys
- If that file is older than 2006/11/23, then copy the new drivers onto the PC
- Unzip the files into a folder on the C:\ drive, so that they will be ready when you reboot the PC.
- Uninstall the existing drivers:
- Navigate to Windows Device Manager: Click Start, Right-Click on "My Computer" and select properties.
- In the Properties window, click the Hardware tab, and then click on "Device Manager"
- Right-Click on the PCUS Devices and select "Properties"
- In the properties window, click on the Driver tab, and click on the Uninstall button at the bottom of the window.
- Install the new Drivers:
- Restart the PC, whereupon it will ask about the new hardware.
- Change the choice from automatic, and select the option to manually specify the driver to install.
- If offered, do not use any that may be listed in the selection window. Windows seems not to know that these old driver files are gone.
- Instead - navigate to the folder where you have saved the unzipped new driver files, and click on the file: PCUS11.inf
Windows should then install the new drivers.
You should restart the PC from a power off state, and there should be no complaints from Windows.
